Andy Whale is started playing drum in the early 80s,punk/hardcore bands at first,then in the mid 80s he was influenced by bands like Discharge and Slayer to play extreme metal. In 1986 he joined Bolt thrower,and in the following 8/9 years he recorded 3 John Peel sessions and 5 studio albums. more recently he is a member of Memoriam a death Metal band from birmingham. He has recorded 3 full length albums and played so of the biggest metal festivals around the world
