Eugi started drumming at the age of eleven, after a few unsuccessful attempts playing the piano. In his mid-teens he studied with Italian drummer and composer Antonio Di Lorenzo, learning different techniques and genres like jazz, bossa nova, samba, funk and, most importantly, rock. Eugi’s favourite drummers include Roger Taylor, John Bonham, Ginger Baker, Buddy Rich, Keith Moon and Ringo Starr. After a long engagement with Italian indie-rock band Numb, after moving to London, Eugi founded Magic Queen, a band that’s been acclaimed as the most dynamic and proactive Queen tribute in the United Kingdom.
