BIO

When I was 13 my grandfather got me my first guitar. I sucked. So, 2 years later we ended up in the garage with me behind a 1970’s Ludwig Catalina Drum Set. I was hooked. 4 years of playing in shitty cover bands, and i never stopped having fun. College was the moment i branched out and just started saying yes to every band that need a drummer. Any genre, just someone to let me hit my drums impossibly loud while they wrote music. Band after band, presented gig after gig. Opportunities began to flood as i kept finding ways to get myself on stage. Every band i’ve been in and joined has started from sharing the stage with them at another show. Treating every set as an audition for my last and final performance, playing as if it would be the last, i kept having fun. Addicted. Now i happily claim drum spazzing responsibilities for The Butts, power pop punk out of Austin, TX And perform all percussive patterns with prowess fro From Parts Unknown, fast punk rock n’ roll with an upright bass from Dallas, TX When I’m not blasting out my daddy issues behind a drum set, i am playing fetch with my dog, or skateboarding. Remember, “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.”
