Josh Thomas, 30 year old drummer from the real north! I have been playing drums for 20 years. Influenced by Jazz at a very young age, I started playing in swing bands as soon as I picked up the sticks. Played in various bands from punk to jazz from the age of 10 to 18. Moved out of my small northern town of Carlisle at 18 and moved to the big smoke! Spent the next 5 years grafting and paying my dues to the industry, playing drums with anyone I could and in every club/bar/venue In London. This I where met Jack Cowens (old drummer for Dub Pistols), and with a cheeky facebook comment I became his Dep, until summer 2019 where I then became the main drummer for Dub Pistols. Since becoming Jacks Dep in 2014 to then becoming main drummer, I have played all over the world with Dub Pistols in both hemispheres, BBC Radio 1 plays, huge festivals appearances from Glastonbury in England to Electric Castle in Romania infront of thousands. Its been an amazing journey so far, and we’ve just got started 👊🥁
