I started playing drums at the age of 13 and was taught by Kev Edwards who was Gene Pitney’s touring drummer. I was brought up listening to Queen and The Police and my musical taste quickly digressed to 80’s rock. Having played in a covers band for 20 years I developed the bug for writing and performing original material and in 2006 Crimes of passion was formed in Sheffield. My friend and mentor Mike Tramp from the 80’s band White Lion took us on tour in 2008 all around Europe and I have never looked back! We have toured Europe many times with great bands such as Helloween, Saxon, Gotthard, Axxis to name just a few and played some great festivals such as Wacken Openair, Masters of Rock, Bloodstock, HRH and the Full metal Cruise. Our keyboard player, label and management are all based in Germany so it has become my second home but my favourite country to play is Russia!!!!!
