At the age of 10, I grabbed a pair of sticks and a practice pad out of my brothers cupboard (as he bought them but not taken up the hobby) and attempted to tap away with no real idea of what I could achieve. Before long I had pillows set up all round my bed, sat on a tiny stool and began to play along to any song I could listen to. I kept this up till eventually my parents bought me my very own drum kit at the age of 12. The addiction just went from strength to strength. Playing my very first gig with my brothers band at 13 years of age. The first serious recording session happened in 2002 with a band called The Chasers at BBC Maida Vale Studios in the Big Grosby studio 2. After that I began to record for other bands and sessions leading up to the present day. Between 2020 -2021 lockdowns I was involved with a few sessions for Lasso The Moon Productions and played a session for Caitlin Lavagna’s latest single – How Not To Start A Fight. I have been with 10 Gauge since 2018 recording at the fantastic Monnow Valley in Wales, RAK studios in London, The Park Studios in Wembley and planning to record next at Galaxy Studios, Belgium late 2022 – early 2023.
