Ritch had his first drum kit way back in 1973 when he was 5 years old. He broke it within a week. In 1993 he Joined The Wildhearts and over a period of 20 years recorded 10 studio albums, had UK top 40 chart positions including the top ten hit ‘I Wanna Go Where The People Go’ and toured the UK, US, Europe and Japan. When the band split in 1998 Ritch went on to form the band ‘Grand Theft Audio’ with producer Ralph Jezzard (EMF, Senseless Things). After signing a deal with Universal Publishing the two of them set up their own studio in North London and wrote, recorded and Produced the album ‘Blame Everyone’ which went on to be signed by American label London/Sire Records. The band spent 2 years touring the album in the USA, Europe and the UK. Ritch is currently honing his studio skills while recording with new project – Sorry/Audio. The line up includes Wildhearts and Grand Theft Audio members Scott Sorry and Jay Butler. Watch this space…🤘
