My drum journey started in the late 80’s when I received a marching snare drum as a 4 year old at Christmas! Fast forward 5 years and I began lessons with my drumming inspiration, Paul O’Neil. I took a fairly formal route through the ranks, sitting drum kit exams with The Guildhall School of Music & Drama and covering all styles from jazz to heavy metal with a bit of musical theatre thrown in for good measure. But it was on listening to the likes of Bonham, Rudd and Ulrich which formed my destiny as a rock n roll drummer! Keeping a hard, heavy beat in a band of like minded souls was the dream… And I’m now living it in The Dust Coda!
