Steve is the drummer for the Brighton-based band, Youth Sector, and has been playing drums for 15 years. Originally from Kent, UK, Steve moved to Brighton to study at BIMM where he met the other members of the band and later joined in 2021. Taking influence from art school greats DEVO and Talking Heads, the Brighton 5-piece are full of energy with irresistible choruses you can’t help but sing along with. Youth Sector have completed a hype-inducing run of shows at The Great Escape and SXSW. With multiple UK headline tours included. They have also appeared on a string of support tours with the likes of Goat Girl, Darwin Deez and Courting alongside a plethora of European festivals plus huge support slots at special UK castle shows with Kaiser Chiefs. The band have extensive support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 1 playlisting, DIY, Dork, The Line of Best Fit and more.
