About Steve

Steve has been playing drums for more years than he cares to remember — starting on a junior (not toy) kit before he was even four years old. He was playing live in his early teens and hasn't stopped since. Initially self-taught, he made the decision to seek professional tuition and spent several years in weekly lessons, studying and practising to broaden both his technique and his stylistic range. That investment shows.

Over the course of his career, Steve has recorded with various bands and singers and completed recording sessions for Radio 1 — including The Friday Rock Show — as well as local radio stations in England and Wales. He has played most of the major concert venues across the UK and performed at venues and festivals throughout Europe, covering original rock, AOR, progressive rock, blues, classic rock covers, mainstream covers, and tribute acts including Metallica and Rory Gallagher.

Steve has been with Sons Of Liberty since the band's inception, helping shape them into one of the best live acts on the circuit.
