About Simon
A hard-hitting, groove-driven drummer with over 20 years of professional touring, recording and live experience, Simon Marsh first made his mark with South West metallic punk outfit NoComply, before co-founding the critically acclaimed punk-rock and roots band Crazy Arm.
Simon has performed widely across the UK and Europe, appearing at festivals including Reading & Leeds, Download and 2000 Trees, and at iconic venues such as Brixton Academy, the Roundhouse and the London Astoria. He has shared stages with Frank Turner, Good Charlotte and Alkaline Trio, building a reputation for energetic, precise playing and a relentless live presence.
Today, Simon is firmly back in original music. He drums for Rat Attack — who have returned with new material and live shows — and 2026 also marks the return of NoComply, reuniting Simon with the band where a major part of his journey began. Writing, recording and touring are central to his plans, alongside continued session work and collaborations with other artists.
Away from his own projects, Simon is available for professional gigs, touring, dep work and studio sessions, bringing more than two decades of preparation, consistency and musicality to every room he walks into.
His kit is built around a DW Collector's Series setup (12×7" rack tom, 16×16" floor tom, 24×18" kick), a selection of DW and Tama snares, Ephesus Cymbals, DW hardware throughout, and Evans drumheads.
