About Harry

Harry's obsession with drums started at around seven years old, sparked by a Funeral For A Friend gig. He formed his first band at eleven, which evolved into Cytota during college, and by the time he was twenty the group had rebranded as Shvpes — taking him around the world as their touring drummer. That global chapter clocked up over fifteen years of high-level shows, with sets ranging from thirty to ninety minutes.

Today he channels that experience into Defects, where the drumming is heavier, faster, and more technically demanding than ever. Alongside the live work, Harry has recorded four professional albums and completed sync sessions for external labels and agencies. His live set-up is a British Drum Company Legend Series kit, paired with Zildjian cymbals and DW hardware — built for stages that require both power and precision.
