Philip Edwards: session drummer for hire in United Kingdom
Philip Edwards is a UK-based session drummer available for studio sessions and remote recording work, bringing a strong feel for funk and jazz to every project. You may know him from his work with AC/DC REBORN, and he's now open to hire for your next session or production.
Services Offered
- Studio Sessions — Philip is available to come in and track drums for your project in a professional studio environment
- Remote Sessions from Home Studio — Can't get everyone in the same room? Philip records remotely from his home studio, delivering high-quality drum tracks straight to your session files
Genres and Style
Philip's playing sits comfortably across funk and jazz, two disciplines that demand real pocket, sensitivity, and musicality. Whether you need tight, syncopated grooves with a funk backbone or the dynamic brushwork and swing of a jazz setting, Philip brings authenticity and feel to the kit. His versatility makes him a strong choice for producers, artists, and composers working across a wide range of contemporary and traditional styles.
Based in United Kingdom
Philip is based in the United Kingdom and available for studio sessions nationwide, as well as remote recording work that can reach clients anywhere in the world. His remote home studio setup means geography is rarely a barrier — if you're producing from home, working with a mix engineer elsewhere in the country, or based overseas, Philip can deliver polished, session-ready drum tracks without the need for travel.
For producers and artists within the UK looking for in-person studio work, Philip is well positioned to collaborate on projects wherever you're based.
