Genres / skill set
My playing is predominantly rooted in progressive metal, metal, rock and funk, combining technical precision with powerful grooves, dynamic expression and musical versatility. I'm comfortable navigating complex time signatures, intricate rhythmic patterns, syncopation and polyrhythmic ideas, while maintaining a strong emphasis on feel, musicality and playing for the song. My skill set encompasses everything from hard hitting, high-energy performances and double bass drumming to groove oriented playing, nuanced dynamics and creative fills. I enjoy pushing my technical boundaries while ensuring that every part I play complements the music. Above all, I pride myself on being an adaptable, expressive drummer who can balance technical complexity with the simplicity of a great groove.
